PPCB sitting at the table. Variation discussions continue.

Kia ora PPCB e te Whānau,

Sabbatical letters seem to be arriving and they have left off the fact we were at the table.   Yes, we had a PPCB representative working through applications with the sabbatical team.  We are satisfied that this supported a fair and equitable approach to applications.   We acknowledge that it seems there were a very good amount of applications and so some members have missed out this year. We encourage you to apply again.

In regards to the 20-week applications. This was a negotiated NZEI claim and it never entered our negotiations. We can assure you we will discuss this when variations are discussed.

Variation discussions now await the Secondary Principal’s response to their offer from MOE.  I believe they have been sent a variation offer this week.

Please know that you are valued and we are listening.   I will be talking with Tim Tucker immediately to ensure MOE acknowledge our presence at the table.
