Thank you to those who participated in the survey. We reached 33% membership participation so well done. Attached is the report with both quantitative and qualitative data.
We have already acted on some of the recommendations and are hoping to hear back shortly from the OAG as to a meeting time to discuss the fund.
The guidelines are currently being worked on to explain more clearly the Sensitive Expenditure rules and to give examples of what the fund can and can not be used for against these rules. Finally, our guidelines will include examples of best practices for the use of the fund. These guidelines cannot be completed until after the OAG meeting.
It is our wholehearted intent to keep the essence of the current guidelines, and give flexibility but as we are using public money, ensure our members are clear as to how it can be spent.
Our intent is then to share the updated guidelines with MoE, NZSTA, you and directly to your Presiding Member.
